Our Process
A Structured Path to Lifelong Confidence
We believe financial guidance should be personal—but also clear, organized, and process-oriented. Our step-by-step process helps you get financially organized, understand your options, and make confident decisions. From your first conversation with us to long-term reviews, we work to ensure you always know where you stand and what comes next.
Step 1: Get to Know Each Other
Our first meeting is all about connection. We’ll introduce you to our team, share how we work, and learn about your goals, priorities, bigger aspirations, and expectations. You’ll come prepared with key documents so we can begin organizing and understanding your full financial picture. This is a collaborative, no-pressure conversation designed to start building trust from day one.
Step 2: Explore Planning Foundations and Projections
In our second meeting, we’ll walk through a 30-minute interactive video that outlines the realities of retirement and financial planning. From there, we’ll review your personalized projections and explore “what-if” scenarios—like retiring early, caring for a parent, or living to 100—so you can get a clearer vision for the future and what’s possible.
Step 3: Review Your Custom Financial Roadmap
Once we have a clear picture of your goals, we present your full financial roadmap, including our recommended investment strategy. We’ll walk through the reasoning behind each recommendation, its features and benefits, how it fits into your financial roadmap, and what it costs. You’ll receive a complete, bound copy of your plan to keep and review.
Step 4: Account Setup & Implementation
Once you’ve confirmed our firm is a good fit and that you want to work with us, we’ll schedule a fourth meeting in which you’ll sign any documents needed to open and/or transfer your accounts. This is where everything starts to take shape and your strategy is put into motion. We’ll walk you through every step, making sure everything feels clear and organized and that you feel confident as we move forward.
Step 5: Stay Connected and On Track
Once your accounts are active, we meet again to walk through your first statements and answer any questions. In the first year, most clients find it helpful to meet 2–3 times. After that, we recommend setting aside time for us to review your plan together at least once or twice a year—so your strategy stays aligned with your life.
